We also offer a part exchange 'upgrade' service. No valuation will be given without sight of the radio to be exchanged. GRE295 Scanner.
We are pleased to announce the return of the popular GRE 295 scanners. This set is easy to operate and includes both Civil and Military airband frequency ranges. It also has the ability to offer 'Alpha-texting' for naming frequencies within the banks.

NEW Scanner - Alinco DJ-X30                                          
The new Alinco set has arrived!
At last there is now  a compact set incorporating the new technology which also has 'direct key' entry, enabling the user to key frequencies directly, and then easily download to memory. Accepting the full Civil and Military air bands, this set has been expected for some time. This set will also accept frequencies from a computer with a programme downloaded for the Internet. The 'purchase package' is fairly basic, including belt clip, strap, and optional components to remove keypad.
The aerial is SMA screw fitting, and the set is "pocket-sized". Set has full frequency range from 100kHz to 1300 mHz. with no gaps, and standard set up has 1000 channel memory. 
PC Cable (ED512) also available - software can be downloaded to expand each memory bank of 100 channels by 50!  
                                                                                                              
At least one internet site is saying the popular little Maycom AR108 has been discontinued - NOT SO - WE HAVE STOCK  and will be able to continue to supply this excellent little scanner.
News on the Maycom AR108. We have also carried out trials with this little set and find that it WILL receive 8.33 step frequencies. As the set can be tuned to the third decimal place - 5kHz. - the set will get close enough to receive the 8.33 Frequencies for the Pole Hill beacon, only 15 miles away for the Air Supply shop.

The new Steepletone SAB2006 has now been released - similar to its predecessor the SAB2005, it is an airband receiver with memory preset stations, rather than a true scanner with the ability to scan the memories within. However price has come down, and it is more compact. NOW AVAILABLE ON LINE

FLIGHT ROUTINGS Information - NEW Publication.

As the "Flight Routings" book is no longer available, we now stock Seldec's publication "UK & Ireland Flight Routes 2008". This book has a similar layout with Flights laid out in the order of Callsign alphabetically, and details in columns of Flight number, departure and destination information, including times, frequency and aircraft type, very similar to the information base of the original, and will be available from our web-shop.

We also continue to offer the series of "UK Airport Timetables" in 3 volumes. Volume 2 has contained flight routings information on flights over the UK. This series is published bi-annually, and the summer editions will be with us shortly. As the stock arrives it will be added to the webshop.

Civil Aircraft Markings and Military Aircraft Markings 2008 Editions are now in stock. These are the most widely used reference listings of aircraft used by enthusiasts in the UK, with the 'Civil' volume including foreign registered airliners that are often seen in UK SkiesNo change in price for this year, £9.99 each, but Air Supply is offering its usual deal if both books are bought at the same time.

Air Supply Aviation Store Ltd. continues to have great success selling the superb SKYWEAR of Canada range of aviation products. The Skywear range consists of a high quality range of T-Shirts, 'Baseball' caps in two contrasting styles and a beautiful range of large coffee mugs and superb mousemats.

Celebrating the return of a fantastic shape to the skies, and the 25th Anniversary of the Falklands Conflict, Skywear has added to the t-shirt range a wholly new design featuring the mighty Avro Vulcan.




There are additions to the new style of single colour canvas caps, now in Black or Tan colour with fine quality cast brass badges.   The blue colour has been discontinued but we will offer those as long as stock lasts - check with us by email or phone. The well liked cheaper printed caps now have a two-tone peak, and lighter material - these will slowly replace the previous ones with black and navy peaks. New deisgns for 2007 include a revised design featuring the RAF Harrier and RAF Tornado in the Printed designs, and all new Harrier and Mosquito designs in the Brasslogo series.

In 2006 the project to raise a WW2 Halifax bomber of 6(RCAF) Group from the Atlantic Ocean off the Scottish Coast, got under way. Equipment used to raise the Halifax NA337, now in the RCAF Memorial Museum, has already been pledged to the project. Funds are needed to carry out the initial survey and as part of this fundraising, the HP57 (Canada) Group have organised the painting shown, which has been signed by the surviving members of the crew of LW170.

Air Supply is delighted to support the project, and is selling copies of the print in Europe.
