Navigation Scales
Available individually, these are the basic instruments required for PPL training. Rules have scales to cover the 1:500,000 and 1:250,000 CAA charts. The Square protractor has two options with clear or white edging, and as an alternative is available in round form with clear edging only.

Magnetic or True headings (zero wind) and distances are obtained simultaneously by simply aligning the 1:500,000 centre scale with the desired track. The NP-1 also has scales for 1:100,000 to 100nm and 1:250,000 to 25nm and a protractor on the outside of both sides. PB-1 Pilot's Board
The PB-1 is a simple, lightweight A5 Pilot's Board. It features a central spring clip for retention of flight log pads/landing plates etc, 2 loops (1 each side) to hold pens/pencils, a clear plastic flip-over protective cover and a reinforced eyelet to retain a stopwatch holder. A useful flight log is printed on the front of the board. Elasticated velcro-fastening thigh strap and moulded back ensures stability in any conditions. (Stopwatch, clip and pencils not included).

PB-2 Pilot's Board
The PB-2 A4 Pilot's Board is of rigid construction and finished in durable black leather grain PVC. The board features a strong central metal spring clip with to retain a flight log pad/landing diagrams etc, a reinforced eyelet for attaching a stopwatch clip and a flip-over clear plastic protective cover that can be used for marking with chinagraph pencils or water soluble and permanent felt markers. The PB-2 is overprinted on the front in white with a comprehensive flight log (including phonetic alphabet, distress signals, and a ruled section for observations and notes). The reverse includes side pockets to accomodate a 5" square protractor (CP-1, CP-2 or CP-3 models), up to 4 chinagraph pencils or felt marker pens and a central pocket to retain the NP-1 topographical chart plotter. All of which can then be easily and quickly accessed when the board is in use in the cockpit but keeping you clear of clutter.

PB-3 Pilot's Board
The PB-3 Pilot's Board is often used for IMC & Instrument Rating training but is equally suitable for VFR cockpit use.
It is rigid in construction and finished in durable leather grain P.V.C and overprinted on the front in white with a comprehensive flight log (including phonetic alphabet, distress signals and a ruled section for observations and notes).
The reverse includes pockets to accomodate a 5" square protractor (CP-1, CP-2 or CP-3) , up to 4 chinagraph pencils or felt markers and a central pocket for the NP-1 or NP-2 topographical chart plotters. All can be quickly accessed.
The PB-3 exclusively features a top right mounted spring to retain a flight log pad and VFR or IFR aerodrome/airport plates etc., a reinforced eyelet for attaching a stop watch clip and a flip over clear plastic protective cover that can be used for marking with chinagraph pencils or felt marker pens .
The useful addition of a 'D' clip ring binder attachment on the left side is designed to hold loose-leaf Flight Guide or Directory pages.

PB-4 Pilot's Board
The PB-4 fold-over Pilot's Board is most popular with pilots training and flying in demanding VFR & IMC conditions.
It is rigid in construction and finished in durable leather grain PVC.
Overprinted on the front in white with a comprehensive flight log (including phonetic alphabet, distress signals and a ruled section for observations and notes).
It features double spring clips on the top allowing a flight log sheet and landing diagrams to be viewed simultaneously.
A double spring bracelet pen /pencil clip is attached to the top right.
Fitted also with a flip over clear plastic protective cover that can be used for marking with chinagraph pencils or felt marker pens .
The PB-4 opens to allow access for store and view up to 16 further pages of landing diagrams, flight log sheets or notes on 8 A5 sized plastic wallets bound to the left and right for easy access.

It features a central metal spring clip with corner grips to retain log pads/landing diagrams etc, hanging eye, double loop pen/pencil holder, and a reinforced eyelet for attaching a stopwatch clip. Stopwatch Clip
This is a fully 'Adjustable Stop Watch Clip' manufactured in chromium finished spring steel.
It is fitted with a unique nylon bolt and knurled hand tightening nut with self locking head that reduces 'snag' on clothing etc. and requires no tools for fitting.
Suitable for most analogue and many digital timers, it can also be used for attachment to other items such as accessible aircraft trim etc.
